Zinda nazar aana zaroori hai…
A journalist friend from gulf said that a country where people are indulged in adulterating food and there is no severe law to punish them, can be counted as bad as anything can. The journalist friend commented after hearing the hysterical speeches on India's moral-greatness. He said that not only the countries of Middle East but in China and in many other countries, capital punishment is the only legal way out to tackle this crime, but our so-called high moral country lack even introducing a deterring law. With impure food we have celebrated the festival with artificial greetings and wishes. Really the people of India deserve patting in praise. Do not take otherwise of the comment of Dubai based journalist. He was balanced enough to comment only on food adulteration in India, not commented on the defilement of principles and the sully behaviors of Indian people, of which now the whole world knows very well. We are so wicked that we are making our generation an earth worm by feeding them spurious milk, adulterated spices, cereals and contaminated vegetables, but always talk on high pitch to win the world. These days rarely any food item is spared from the malicious practice of food adulteration. Since 1947 to till date the politicians of our country conspired to make us so much in-effective that we can not raise our voice of dissention against the continued process to make the generations frail and impotent. When our condition is this, we can very well imagine how our coming generations will be… In seventies we had at least that much of guts to shout a slogan 'dekho ye indira ka khel, kha gai rashan pee gai tel'… That very self strength of the mass resulted into the massive JP movement, though politically failed but historically successful in making significant mark. In only four decades, we have become so much fragile that we do not even dare to raise a voice against the excessive price hikes and uncontrolled adulterations of food. Don't talk about the political parties agitating on the roads against price hike and the politicians shouting in the assemblies or in the parliament, they all are like the thief who shouts 'thief…thief' and escapes in the disguise. If the politicians and the political parties had not been the flock of pimps, the scene could have been different. The price hike and the impure food are meant for us, not for them. The business houses that supplies the pure foods to the politicians are the main culprit of adulteration karobar. That's why no severe law has been introduced in our country as yet to curb this anti-national & anti-social crime. The elements, cons-pirating against our coming generation to make them 'vegetable' are healthy-wealthy & happy. In other countries those who get hanged, here in India they keep law on their lap. The money-game has made the whole Indian system so much rotten that today from assemblies to parliament, the small to big leaders sitting there have become brokers of different capitalist syndicates. They are only acting on the behest of capitalist lobbies and paving ways for their profit. Adulteration of food makes one capitalist-lobby gainer and on the other hand the capitalists investing into health business earn impressive profit out of it, as the people getting health problem run towards the hospitals and nursing homes. The business of spurious drugs also flourishes due to the reason. With all this understanding and information known to everyone in the power-politics who can help in reducing the problem, are nowhere in the picture to solve it. The question is why is it not implemented? Is it not a pre-planned conspiracy of politicians acting on behalf of capitalists or industrialists lobby? The facility to get car and mobikes on loan or the facility to get home on loan, is for what? Do you try to understand its' reason behind. They all are to facilitate profit to the capitalist lobbies. The un-controllable traffic will aggravate complete anarchy on the roads. …And the shrinking of agricultural land of the country by making non productive housing colonies there; is the conspiracy to make India dependent for food for ever. Do you realize why the multi nationals have been given license to extract our ground water? Think… but not only think, do something. At least be cautious and shout against these serious anomalies. We do not have much time. Buying car or motorcycle on loan is more psychological than need. We must not be an accomplice in the brutal murder of our green agricultural lands. If we keep mum, we are the culprits of the generations to come. We have to crash, when our principles are on stake… We have to prove that we are alive… I am referring two lines of a Hindi poem accurate for this moment to understand… 'Usoolon pe jahan aanch aaye wahan takrana zaroori hai Jo zinda hon to fir zinda nazar aana zaroori hai…' (Published in By-Line National News Weekly (Hindi and English) March 13, 2010 Issue under regular column – Last Punch)
